If Airtel TV App is not already on your device you can download it from Google Play Store or the Apple App store.

Airtel TV offers you a wide of channels for Live content consumption. If you’ve missed a live show, you can catch up later as well. A curated list of latest and popular Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Original shows and other viral videos is also available. You can create your favorites list and share it with your friends. You can also watch content on their TV sets by using the Chromecast feature.

IPODS, Locked Phones purchased outside India. Additionally, Hooq content is not playable on rooted android and jail broken iOS devices.

Sign Up & Registration

You can browse content without registering, but to watch all the FREE content on the app, favorite a content, see playback history and share videos, you need to register.

Go to 'Profile' in the 'My Account' menu. You can sign up with your mobile number. Your mobile number is your unique ID.

Click on “Resend OTP” to generate a new PIN. Also, please check if you have entered the correct Mobile Number to register.

Your mobile number is your unique ID. It helps us maintain your playback status and keep track of your subscription

If you are using internet on airtel network, the app automatically identifies your number and registers it. If you want to change the registered number, you can go to 'My Account'>>'Edit Profile'>>'Change registered no.' and then manually enter a phone number for verification.

You can register with only one number at a time on any device.

Airtel customers can enjoy unlimited access to all premium content on the app till 30th June'18.

You just need to verify your mobile number. Your playback history, profile and subscriptions will be fetched from our database automatically.

Registration can only be completed if you receive a 4 Digit PIN and verify it successfully. Please re-enter the correct mobile number and enter PIN received to register.

You can go to 'My Account' >> 'Reset Account' to delete the old account and then register with a new number. But you will lose any playback history if you do so.

Since you are registered with your mobile number, you can have only one account. To create additional account, you will need to register from a different number.


Anyone who has Airtel connection (Prepaid/Postpaid/Broadband/DTH) can access Airtel TV. Please make sure you register with your Airtel number or registered Broadband/DTH number and ensure that the SIM of the registered number is in the device. If you’re using mobile data, you’ll need to be on Airtel mobile data to access Airtel TV.

If you have Airtel prepaid/postpaid number, ensure that you register on Airtel TV with your Airtel mobile number and have Airtel SIM in the device. If you’re on mobile network, ensure that you’re on Airtel mobile data or wifi. Access on non airtel mobile data will not be supported.

If you are an Airtel DTH user, ensure that you register on Airtel TV with the registered number of your Airtel DTH account. Also, have the SIM of the registered number in your device on which you are accessing Airtel TV.

If you are an Airtel Broadband user, ensure that you register on Airtel TV with the registered number of your Airtel Broadband account. Also, have the SIM of the registered number in your device on which you are accessing Airtel TV.

Check your device, you may need to insert your Airtel SIM in the device. If you have the Airtel SIM inserted and you’re registered on Airtel TV with the same number but still unable to access then it might be an issue. Please reach out to us at support@airtel.tv.

If you are using mobile data, you’ll need to be on Airtel mobile data to access Airtel TV. If you are on wifi, there are no such restrictions. If you are on airtel mobile data, then reach out to us for a quick resolution support@airtel.tv.

The error message is shown if we believe you have an Airtel SIM in your device but you’ve registered on Airtel TV with a non airtel number. To solve this, check your registered number: My account > Edit profile info > Change registered number.

DTH users can access all content on Airtel TV except for Hotstar/Star content. You can port your mobile number to Airtel to enjoy unlimited Hotstar access. Port your number here.

These videos are premium content and can be streamed only if you subscribe to a pack.

You can unsubscribe from iTunes & App Store.

The app has adaptive streaming and automatically selects the best quality available according to the network speed to ensure a buffering-free experience.


You can search by entering related fields such as Movie/TV Show title/Director/Actor/Channel name into the Search bar at the top of the page. Example: to search for 3 idiots, type in: 3 idiots, Aamir Khan or Madhavan.

Yes, you can just enter the actress/actor/director's name and then click on the image to find all related info, movies and shows

Yes, you can favorite your content by tapping on the heart icon and it will be added to the 'Favorites' section in the menu.

Yes, you can mail us at support@airtel.tv or Go to 'Settings' >> 'About Us' >> 'Contact Us'. We will make sure we get you your favorite video as soon as we can!


You can check all the available packs on 'My Account' >> 'Plans available'. All purchases are routed through the iTunes Account. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

On Android, you can go to My Account >> Plans and click on 'Subscribe' or 'Purchase' to buy any pack.

Validity of a subscription is mentioned when you take a pack and can also be checked in 'My Account' >> 'Active Packs'

Your monthly subscription is auto renewed by default, once activated. To avoid renewal, you’ll have to cancel subscription from iTunes & App Store 24 hours prior to end of current subscription period.

You can unsubscribe from iTunes & App Store.
1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
3. Tap View Apple ID. You might need to authenticate your Apple ID.
4. Select the Airtel TV subscription and tap on Cancel Subscription. If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle. However, if you don’t cancel more than 24 hours prior to renewal timeline, your subscription might renew.


Chromecast support is not available as of now. We are working on the same and should be available soon.

Payment and Charging

Airtel TV is a FREE to download app. While watching a video, you get charged for data according to your data pack. Also, you have to purchase a subscription to play premium content.

When you play a video on the app, data charges apply. If you are a data pack customer, you simply consume from your pack and pay nothing extra. For premium content, subscription charges also apply.

Airtel customers can simply pay from their airtel account (prepaid balance or postpaid bill). Alternatively users can pay via credit card, Google Play billing or Paytm wallet.


You can click on the share button on the movie/show/video page and then select where do you want to share and with whom.

You can switch off the notifications from Settings screen


Your mobile number will not be displayed to other users and is only for registration/ verification purposes.
